Christopher Copenhaver – President

A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, Chris worked for several years in the telecommunications and defense industries prior to establishing Protos Security with Patrick Henderson. He consults directly with clients and provides consulting expertise related to physical security protection, employee training, and in-store security analysis. Chris recently completed the establishment of homeland security compliance for an anti-terrorism program. He oversees day-to-day corporate operations and drives Protos Security’s strategic planning initiatives.

Patrick Henderson – Vice President

After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute with a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Patrick started his career in the road construction industry. His leadership philosophy is driven by the "Golden Rule" as he has extensive experience managing and coaching people over the past 10 years. Although Patrick has managed multiple projects in the construction industry, he also maintains more than 7 years of experience managing technical projects in the telecommunication and security guard management industry. Patrick is passionate about attention to detail in work flow processes and organization, which minimizes errors and improves operational efficiency.

Ralph Charles – Director of Operations, Risk Management and Compliance

Ralph manages all legal and compliance-related issues for our clients and our affiliates. He came to Protos with over twelve years of experience in the financial industry and more than sixteen years in a management and compliance role. He participates in contract negotiations, contract management, and provides risk mitigation and analysis expertise.

Shannon Janney – Director of Finance

With fourteen years of management expertise in retail loss prevention management, Shannon is responsible for all financial activities and reporting, including Accounts Payable and Receivable. Shannon interacts with both clients and affiliates. For clients, she provides customized billing and invoicing services. She also provides client financial reports. For Protos affiliates, Shannon is in charge of processing all payables.

Neena Hayden – Quality Assurance

Neena and her team have over 75 years of experience in quality assurance. They interact on a personal level with each client's location staff, who are the ones most affected by the quality of performance our security personnel provide. Neena and her team of fully trained representatives conduct quality assurance surveys at scheduled, recurring intervals. The locations that receive the surveys are selected at random, or as otherwise requested by our clients. If there is a potential concern revealed from the quality assurance survey, it is brought to the attention of a supervisor and an immediate investigation is conducted. All data gathered is updated in our database to continually improve our commitment to excellent customer service.
