Protos Security has played a leadership role in the management of our overall security program. They have helped with cost management of security personnel, budget tracking, regulatory compliance, and reduction of administrative costs.
Security Risk Management
Protos Security understands the realities of physical and financial risk while conducting business in today’s marketplace and has addressed our clients’ concerns in ways that offer an enhanced approach to security risk management and assisting with risk mitigation. Protos Security can add several links to the “Chain of Protection” that usually exists within our clients’ security risk management strategy. While Protos Security works hard to administer our client’s Security Officer programs efficiently and effectively, additional levels of risk management offered by Protos Security can help minimize our clients’ exposure to those risks that may be part of any well-run Security Officer Program through the following added value approach:
RISK AVOIDANCE
Legal and Regulatory Compliance Management – Strict adherence to legal and regulatory compliance requirements help to avoid inherent risks that may be encountered in the areas where security management services are performed. Protos Security has established strict Standards of Compliance, which must be agreed to between Protos Security and our affiliated security service providers before any assignment is awarded. Protos Security continually monitors each of our Affiliates in order to assure legal and regulatory compliance with prevailing legal and/or regulatory requirements within an applicable jurisdiction. Protos Security’s Standards of Compliance include registration, certification, licensure, and/or any other prevailing legal and/or regulatory compliance requirements applicable to businesses and individuals under such jurisdictional authority.
Post Order Development and Updates – A clearly established mission for security services providers can help avoid unexpected high risk situations and confrontations and unforeseen security breaches. Protos Security works closely with our clients in order to create, develop, and/or revise detailed and comprehensive standard operating procedures to meet the security needs at each location where security services are provided.
Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure of Proprietary Information – Protos Security recognizes the strategic importance of confidential information and is committed to helping our clients preserve valuable trade secrets and other private material. Protos Security works with each of our clients to develop customized solutions to help prevent the acquisition and/or unauthorized disclosure of competitive business intelligence and proprietary information while fulfilling our role as a provider of security management services.
TRANSFER OF RISK
Liability Insurance Protection Through Our Affiliates – When a new service provider joins our certified affiliate network, the new affiliate is required to submit documentation that includes Protos Security as an “additional insured” under the affiliate’s general liability insurance policy. This requirement benefits our clients as well as Protos Security by including additional liability insurance as another link in the “Chain of Protection” should the unexpected occur.
Additional Liability Insurance Protection – Through Protos Security – When Protos Security is engaged by a client to administer a comprehensive Security Officer program, our client is automatically included as an “additional insured” under Protos Security’s general liability insurance policy. This addition of general liability insurance forms another link in the “Chain of Protection” to help ensure our clients are protected from the incidents that may occur at one of their locations.
REDUCTION OF NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF RISK
Indemnification – When Protos Security and our clients establish a relationship under our Security Management Services Agreement, Protos Security is obligated to indemnify our clients’ interests against claims, damages, and liabilities that may arise as a result of the presence of security personnel at any client location.
